This wine is nothing special for me. I tried it this time in several glasses from Zalto and for me the Zalto Bordeaux was the best. The wine shows elements of blueberry some cinnamon , apart from that its smooth on the palate and decanting it for some hours did not improve the wine....so i think it would do best with barbecue food.

Apresentou uma cor rubi consideravelmente escura. Bons aromas, que remetem a ameixas passas, amoras azedinhas, baunilha e um toque de chocolate. Na boca � encorpado, com bom equil�brio entre fruta, acidez, �lcool e taninos, o problema foi a madeira, que, a meu ver, se mostrou um pouco preponderante demais. Termina com boa persist�ncia.. Um bom e moderno alentejano, que ainda durar� bem por mais uns 4-5 anos.

Couleur rubis très foncé avec un nez timide sur la confiture e bleuet et cassis. En bouche, petite touche de boisé, fruit noir et fleur. Bonne amertume et bonne astringence. Après 3h de décantassions, le s'améliore beaucoup. A boire dans 2-3 ans

A very nice wine for the price ($18). a lot of funk on the nose upon opening. Decanted for about 45 mins. Got a lot of structure via wood on the nose. A lot on the mouth and a lasting finish. I would buy again.

ChTR kokous 31.10.2012 (SKO-toimisto) : Decanted, tasted double blind. A dark violet red, looking very young. The nose was very primary, gun powder, meaty smells, lots of fruit like cassis. The palate was also very fruity, this is a big wine with medium tannins, a slight hint of burnt toast came up at some point. Nice stuff, although on the bomb side, has the potential to calm down with some years in the cellar.

Mouth filling with beautiful acidity, fruit juice, chocolate, sweet spices, firm and also soft tannin, a bit of sweetness, some well dosed oak. A friendly and well made wine. Ready now and the next few years.

Yes yes, I was drawn to the nice label. However this bottle was consumed in a restaurant and was kept perfectly - meaning perfect condition and perfect temprature. Full body, noticeable blackcurrent, some oak, and chocolate. The taste is not too simple with a few layers. Finish is medium and nice. Perfect food wine. I have a few 08 at home and can't wait to try. Think it will enter its best in a couple of years.

a really lovely wine. great fruits, great balance, majestic. ready to go right now, no need to hold. i spoke with the uk importer and he suggested it wouldn't hold for many years. that it is so ready right now, i don't doubt his assessment. no matter, it is super today. i wish i had more.
