Lovely bottle which seems to be in a perfect point to consume maybe even slightly advanced as I generally find Condrieu aromatics to be a little more intense and fresh from bottles of similar age. This came across more as a 4 to 5 year old bottle. Good balance and flavors, I just wish it was a bit fresher & zippier -was it the fruit of the vintage or just this bottle? All around enjoyable.

gold in the glass, very expressive nose of honey,pear and a few other scents. Very full and rich although i have not tasted very many condrieu in the past i feel 05 may have been a very fine vintage

SFwine Northern Rhone tasting (Dave's pad, San Francisco) : Pale gold. Highly aromatic nose with stone fruit, honey, white flowers. Zesty acidity on the palate, light to medium bodied with some richness, stone fruits, floral, honeyed, with a faint hint of gasoline. Hint of bitter apricot kernels on finish. A lighter, expressive Condrieu. I like.
