Couldn't restrain myself. What a lovely friend this wine is! Loads of lingonberry jam, butter and soft spices and herbs on the nose. In the mouth, this is nothing for sensitivas. This is a full throttle wine that pairs well with food. Absolutely stunning! Will easily age well for at least 10 more years.

Two years since the previous encounter. The wine is still very young, but has started its walk up the hill, towards its plateau. Beautiful concentration and intensity with a helpful tannic structure. I'd still designate this as "too young" meaning I will try to keep my remaining btl for as long as possible. Ten years is definitely not going to be too long.

94% Tinto Fino, 4% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Merlot of vineyards located in the valley of the Botijas River, about 900 meters away, planted between 1988 and 2011 and of limestone marl soils, with the presence of clays, sandstone and plasters. It ferments with its own yeasts and is aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels. Ripe red fruit, floral, toasted, concentrated, juicy, long, wide, elegant, persistent. This wine has a very long life. Wonderful, what a …

Deep ruby colour, dry, low acidity, very smooth tannins, high alcohol, aromas of dried plum, dark cherry, vanilla and hints of chocolate, the wine is very round, everything‘s well integrated and it‘s smooth and creamy to drink, full bodied with a long finish, very good quality wine

Dark red with a tiny bricking rim. Nose is huge: fruit forward and oak. Not particularly interesting since it's a super young wine. Os: deep, rich meaningful and young. Fruit forward with plum compote, making raisins (not raisins) and dark flowers and fruits. Merloty aromas and mouthfeel. Sun definitely kissed this bottle intensely. It feels incredibly young, but difficult to say if it can outlive its youth. I certainly hope so, because the stuffing of this pig is immense! Two …

Mikill ferskleiki. Í lokin komu svo fram kaffitónar. Virkilega flott vín en ekki alveg í sama klassa og Rocapoll sem fór á undan.

Deep purple color. Plum reaps berry and earth on the nose. High frequency course tannins with fruit on steroids. Could use a touch more acid for balance.

Tékkað á nokkrum vínum með Coravin. (Njálsgata 6) : Tekinn 1 dl með Coravin. Frekar dökkt á litinn. Í nefi mjög klassískur ilmur. Fágaður og flottur. Sítrus, líklega appelsínur. Dökkir ávextir. Á tungunni. Smjör. Ekki auðvelt að greina bragðtóna. Bragðhnykill. Meiri sýra en í fyrri vínum. Flott jafnvægi. Virkilega flott vín, í raun ótrúlega flott miðað við hvað það er ungt.
