Good, solid cali pinot. Smooth and sweet fruit with composure from some years in the cellar now. Not very complex at this stage, there is fruit for more years in the cellar but do not expect this to get more than what it is - a nice while not memorable bottle of pinot, which is not a bad thing😊

Excellent on PnP. Mrs Ozziewine preferred the New World Pinot glass whereas I went for the traditional bowl. Can't go wrong either way as this is a good example of a wine that tastes great no matter the glass used. Interesting muddled fruit, cran-berry and rhubarb flavors. Earthy. Classic light burgundy color, still youthful in appearance and taste but possesses a mellow maturity that is most appealing. This is the third Tyler Pinot I've had from the 2015 vintage and …

Medium-fullish nose with red fruit and berry. Strawberry and cinnamon. Warm and succulent. Quite oaky. Very New Worldish. Fullish, rich palate. Developed. Coca-cola oak. Raspberry and strawberry. Violets. Good concentration but lacks complexity and depth.

Cracked this open with grilled salmon with which it was perfect. This is a wonderfully balanced and if I may say so, very “Burgundian-styled” wine. Coming in at 13.1% ABV, It tastes bright, lively, lifted and full of cherry with aromas that glide from floral to fruity and back again. Finish is long and lightly earthy. It was probably near wine infanticide to drink this now. It would be even more complex and layered in another 5-10 years. I wish …

Surprisingly low in alcohol for a Santa Maria Valley pinot. Didn't have too much of this so not rating. 91 if had to rate perhaps.

I can’t write effective descriptive notes but this wine is subtle, delicious and right in my wheelhouse .

Interesting combination of a dark and concentrated profile at the same time that it manages to be light and cool. Dark raspberries and cherries, sandal wood, spiges, rowes and violets. Seems burgundian in style rather than Californian. A little young today but very enjoyable. However at the price in Sweden of 450 SEK, about 50 USD which seems to be a very competitive price compared to the US retail given import costs and taxes, there is a lot of good …

Graduation dinner for Meredith, La Fondue in Saratoga CA. Cool place, good food, unique experience and nice wine list... Dark ruby. Densely textured, dark/blue fruits, cherry pie, baking spice. Fruit forward and viscous. Medium finish. Nice fruit, may settle with some time in the bottle. As Pinot a bit a bit too heavy in weight for my tastes, our group did like the wine

Rather dense and dark fruit notes with blackberries and blueberries, but also an abundance of herbal notes. Slight sweetness on the palate combined with some dark minerals, cherries and spices. This is a dense and dark pinot noir but still with a coolness and rather herbal expression.
