(zwei Gläser im Restaurant) Cabernet-typische Nase mit Cassis, Paprika und sehr gut eingebundenem Holz. Am Gaumen mit Griff und Zug, sehr guter Abgang mit gewisser Länge. Das ging sehr gut zum Essen und war eine Klasse besser als der Chianti.

Tasted at Le Mortelle, Ampio, Castiglione della Pescaia in a wonderful context with a stunnung view on the Maremma Plain. The wine appears still youthful with some excess acidity an fruit but improves with some aeration. Well paired with local cheese. Pleasant but overpriced

I was expecting more actually. It's not an expensive wine but still very high rated and from "big wine guys" like Antinori group made. For a still young and very beautiful vintage 2018 (everything I tried from Italy out if this vintage was exceptional even if not on same level of 2016) has already reached is peak of ripeness.
