Impressive as always, with even more depth from cellaring a few years. Best buy in sparkling wine that can pass for French that I know of.

2017 vintage

Technically non- vintage, but produced in 2019 , and disgorged in May of 2022. On nose : sea salt and blanched almonds. On palate: follow through of the above notes, with green pear skin, toasted brioche, and a wisp of lemon peel. Refreshing, pleasant, if not complex.....I would still rather buy this, than an entry level Veuve Cliquot ( at Twice the price). Blue Mountain is a good producer of New World sparkler....went well with an early New Year's Eve …

Delicious. Nice fruity yeasty in balance.

Wish I would of looked at the disgorged date. A blend of PN, Chard & touch of Pinot Gris. Pear, salinity, green apples, toasted almonds, brioche. Always a crowd pleaser, and in my opinion a better buy than their vintage bubbly offerings.

Disgorged 08/2020. The first few pours showed a very frothy sparkling that was rather acidic and aggressive in nature. As it got air and warmed up this harshness dissipated and the slightly toasty, apple and cirtus emerged a bit. Additional time in the cellar might help here (B+).

2017 vintage

Drinking great. Minerality, freshness and vibrancy still there. The young edge has dropped off and nothing but crisp bubbles. Will develop more over the next 3 to 5 years.

12.0% abv. Light gold. Quite frothy/effervescent, many bubbles. Indifferent nose and palate, Primarily stone fruit, some citrus, slightly tinny. Med finish. A very average BC sparkling.

2017 vintage

12% (2016 - disgorged 02/20) - Clear, med lemon, tiny and constant beads / clean, med intensity - ripe lemon, pear, bruised apple, rancio, fresh baguette / dry, med+ acidity, med to light body, med intensity, med+ length.

Very quaffable - mainly fruit with little leesy or bread flavours. Fairly one dimensional but enjoyable for an afternoon sipper.

Extremely good NV sparkler from BC Pronounced aromas of biscuits, shortbread, lemon curd, and green apple Rich mouthfeel Medium+ length Dry to slightly off dry

Clear light yellow, strong mousse. Lemon, apple, yeast and lime. Dry lemon flavours and a nice dry finish. Perhaps I was in the mood but I thought this was pretty good.

Blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 45.5% Chardonnay, and 4.5% Pinot Gris. Highly aromatic nose has biscuity, pastry, citrus, and grapefruit aromas with hints of melon. Fresh, crisp acids and fine mousse with lovely aroma replays on the dry palate. Long, crisp finish.

Lovely golden salmon color with fine persistent bubbles. Very well balanced and a treat to serve with a non-traditional Christmas meal of barbecued chicken. A non vintage method champenoise but nonetheless kept for 15 years in my cellar.

Style plutôt brioché. Très bon!

Very easy to drink. Great value.

2014 vintage

Assez vif et ample, bulles plus ou moins fines, vinosité moyenne et finale un peu juste.

I believe my 1st sparkler from Canada and I have to say I'm impressed. Plenty of bubbles, great balance with some bread, quality fruit, good acids.

Lifting energy and delightful piercing qualities, gracing a precise frame. Excellent QPR!

Dry, tart, vigorous and lean. Very well done but aggressive. Works best with food.

PnP of course. Bottle disgorged 03/17. Delicious fizz with nice fruit and beautiful biscuity yeasty notes.

2014 vintage

12.5% (2013 - disgorged 10/2016) Clean, med gold / clean, med intensity - citrus (lemon curd, lemon pie), rancio, nutty, french bakery, cumin, smoky / dry, med to high zippy acidity, med to light body, med+ intensity, med length. Bright palate that remained lively over 4 days. 88+

12.5% (2013 - Disgorged 10/2016) - Clear, med straw / clean, med intensity - ripe apple, lemon, cumin, / dry, med+ acidity, med to light body, med intensity and length. Not as bright as the last few bottles, but still a solid bubbly.

Apple, mineral and earth nose. Fresh and dry but with what seems to be a brettanomyces taint on the palate. Finishes with a bit of a brie cheese rind flavour. 2/5

12.0% - (2012 - disgorged 03/2015) Clear, med lemon / clean, med+ intensity - ripe lemon, lemon peel, brioche, fresh butter / dry, med+ acidity, med to low body, med+ intensity, med+ length. Lively, good level of complexity, this is very nice.

Bulle petite, bonne quantité, persistante Robe jaune paille doré Nez de fruit blanc, florale, beurre, vanille, Sec, vif, texture ample, belle finale

Fully mature with excellent toasty and citrus character. Long stream of bubbles and very creamy mousse. This was a bottle purchased in 2008 so no question the BM Brut will age and develop beautifully. Well done!

March 2013 disgorgement... This bottle had gained in complexity and was showing no signs of tiring. A testament to the quality of this very affordable wine. Lovely bruised apple flavours and lemon brioche notes to round things out. Outstanding. Next time you stock up, stash a couple away for a few years!

12.0% (2012 - Disgorged 03/2015) - Clear, med lemon / clean, med intensity - lemon zest, green apple, brioche, bakery / dry, med+ zippy acidity, medd- body, med intensity, med+ length, develops a nicely textured mousse. My 2nd bottle and again... blown away by the quality of this bubbly.

Vibrant, pleasingly acidic in line with Blue Mountain's crisp house style especially compared to the Monmouseau next to it, with the body to match. Very 'French' and as good as or better than most entry level French sparklers at $25.

12.0% (2012 - Disgorged 03/2015) Clear, med lemon / clean, med+ intensity - citrus, green apple, lemon custard, pastry, grille bread / dry, med+ acidity, med to light body, med intensity, surprising length, pleasant creamy mousse finish. Even though I enjoyed this wine a few years ago (bubbly we served at our wedding in Ososyoos), this bottle definitely reaches another level. I agree with Le Vinophile review about the fact that this one could give a run to a few …
