Bright cherry red with intense aromas of fresh mint leafs, cherry jam, cooked blackberry, black plum compote, toast, caramel, coconut as well as hints of chocolate and leather. Full bodied with powerful tannin and a refreshing acidity. Well balanced with a bittersweet, long lasting finale. Pairs nicely with pasta dishes with solid sauces such as Pepperonata, Mac & Cheese, BBQ meat, rustic stews as well as a selection of semi hard cheese.
