Italian Wine Scholar Class at the Texas Wine School. 95% Carignano, 5% Bovine Sardo (Graciano), aged in cement vats. Med+ ruby. Med+ nose of dried black plum, black cherry, Mediterranean bramble, earth, wet stone. Dry, w/ med acidity, med+ tannins & high but balanced alcohol (14%). Med+ body, flavor intensity & length, w/ a subtle black licorice finish. Youthful, it's still early in its drinking window. Good QPR.
