Tasted a lot better ten years ago. Hardly had anything going for it. The last bottle of the overpriced wines I bought from Montesquieu before I knew better. My bad, now I buy from the winery clubs I belong to and Echelon and Buckley.

Opened for friends. Will take more detailed notes on the next bottle. Bought for $10 at auction. Was surprised to see that Michel Rolland made this wine. My initial response was that the wine was worth more than $10, but less than $50.

Aerated into a decanter an hour and half prior to serving. It was really good, nice balanced tones of fruit and vaniilla. Went well with the Roasted Veal.
