A wonderful Russian River chardonnay, made in a Chablis style. A Dijon clone of Chardonnay, from estate vineyard. The wine is fermented and aged in 100% stainless. After tasting, I would have guessed some fermentation or elevage (aging) in neutral oak barrels, based on the texture, mouth feel, a credit to the quality, as stainless chardonnay can be very bland and sterile not vinified with care.
