Comte Senard Corton-Clos des Meix

Opened in Paris. P&P, and enjoyed over a few hours. This was a pure punt, and I was pleasantly surprised to see it work out! The wine was surprisingly clean - very little sediment for its age - and had the charm of a decent burgundy that had aged gracefully. Nice fruits complimented by earthy notes; the acidity wasn't too forward or pronounced. Overall, drinking very nicely and I'm glad the punt was successfiul.
