Dark ruby in colour (not surprising for a teinturier). Intense aromas of spice and wood, and aromas of red fruits when you stick your nose deep in the glass. Replays on the palate, with more fruit: overall it is juicy and delicious. Dark berries on the finish. 13% abv, tannins are fairly low. Olive, currant, cedar and underbrush nose. Ripe, sweet-centred palate, well balanced by a healthy dose of acidity. Juicy, spicy finish. 4/5
