Had it with grilled steak and it went well the food. The cork broke into two pieces but the wine itself was just fine. Nice oak and fruit. With food very nice.

This was not drinkable. Used it in a pasta dish and was concerned after taking a sip, but it worked well for cooking. Poured a full glass down the sink. Would not buy again.

Delightful inexpensive Cab! Big taste with some good backbone and hints of pepper, chocolate, fig and blackberry. Went well with the hearty sirloin chili on a damp winter eve. Enough balanced tannins to warrant laying a few down and seeing what develops enjoying a bottle yearly for the next couple. Feel like I stole this one it was such a good QPR!

Tasted at a "wines from Spanish-speaking countries" tasting. This was the blind "mystery" bottle. Almost everyone enjoyed this wine - nice open nose with fruit and some spice. The host (me) tasted right upon opening and the wine was very tight and closed. It sat in a decanter for 2 hours and upon pouring, flavors had opened up with terrific dark cherry and tobacco leaf flavors. When compared with an Argentinian Malbec (Terra Rosa), this was definitely preferred for its …

Decanted for 1 hour. Earthy nose. Easy drinker and very full bodied. Slightly tart finish. Not a great aftertaste but still excellent value.

A very enjoyable Malbec. No formal notes. Went well with Venison tartare and filet at dinner at the Brays Inn. I'd definitely like to spend more time with a bottle next time.

This much better than the last bottle I had. Abundant fruit and spice on the palate. Stewed fruit and spice on the nose. More like marinara on the nose. Still some mineral on the palate, but it's lower in the mix and there's nice ripe fruit on top of it now. First rate.

Not as much fruit as you might expect here. Very mineral-y with some chalk on the taste. Not unpleasant, though.

More mineral-y than I remember. Still a nice, full Malbec.

Dark purple, translucent around the rim. Lush Malbec nose. Red fruit and spice on the palate. Typical Malbec nutty taste in there too. Full thick, mouth, medium-long finish. Coats the teeth. A bit of alcohol coming through, but only open for 15 minutes. Expect this to round out nicely with some air. Will buy again. Update1hr: alcohol has subsided and a bit of musty barnyard now on the nose. I mean "musty barnyard" in a good way.

Nice Concentration, intensity for a $12 bottle. Rasberries, spice, cocha, long dusty tannic finish.
