Spicy nose, pineapple, Trop fruit on the palate, ginger, spices, lots of flavour here, green apple. Delicious. I do love a German pinot gris.

Pinot Gris Zoom Tasting. Tasted semi-blind myself. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Appearance is clear, very pale intensity, lemon colour. Thin legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of citrus lemon, peach, hint of stony minerality and maybe a touch of light acacia honey. Developed. On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium- alcohol (12.5%), medium body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of citrus lemon, peach, cream, hot stones minerality. Herbal note to the medium finish. Easy linear Pinot Gris. Probably …

Clean and fresh, a bit hollow. Not bad for the price but nothing special.

In de neus nat bospad en ingelegde kers. In de mond groene paprika, kers, licht animaal. Heel fijn. Rosbief. Pepertje. Heel lekker.

Good, commercial wine. Plenty of spiced apples and brown pears, balanced finish.

90 pontos e best buy segundo a Wine Enthusiast. Parte do vinho estagiou em grandes toneis de carvalho. Visual amarelo pálido com tons esverdeados. Nariz contido, com notas de pêssego, abacaxi, goiaba. Acidez e frescor bem presentes. Cítrico e mineral no palato. Certa textura e final prazeroso, de bom comprimento. A repetir!

Surprisingly drinkable and pleasant for a pittance. Decided to test the bottle properly by bringing it home, and while it didn't quite sustain the disarmingly crystalline mineral character it presented when tasting among so many other wines with our rep, it still held its own and even featured a hint of floral depth in the somewhat chunky midpalate. Killer value, I'll sell lots of this.

lively and fruity on the nose, a little spritz which was actually quite nice. Definitely in the Gris (rather than Grigio) style, with some weight in the mid palate. A good long finish with just a hint of sweetness at the end. Overall a pleasant wine, certainly not "serious", and perhaps a little populist but very drinkable none the less.

Deep gold in the glass. Shy nose at 50℉ of dried quince and potpourri. More pronounced palate echoes the nose with a touch of balsam. Full mouthfeel, medium acidity. Great cold-weather white.

Pleasant, it tastes similar to Rieslings from Pfalz, but not zingy. It's soft and off dry, suave.

Muito bom, amantegado, untuoso. Baunilha no nariz. Pouquíssima acidez, vinho bem interessante.

Crispier Gris with a more mineral lemon attack. Bill says it tastes South African.

Crisp apple, a little band-aid. A off bottle? Nope. We'll just have to come back to this one again.

Delicious. Citrus, green apple, and some minerality. Acid and sweetness are relatively balanced. Hard to ask for more at $12. Definitely a QPR pleaser.

Tasted blind – Medium lemon (almost gold) in colour, clear. Pronounced and developing nose of minerality, pineapple, ripe apple, and some hints of sulfur. Flavours of spice, burnt butter, tropical fruits and smoky notes. Medium body, medium acidity, short finish. Nice nose, disappointing palate. Drink now. Average.

nice, but on the sweet side compared to Australian or Italian Pinot Gris - goes well with spicy Asian food
