Natale Verga Nero d'Avola Sicilia Il Borgo Collinare

Tasty easy drinking red from Sicily. Very dark red almost purple color. Earthy dark cherry nose. Ripe black cherry and blueberry fruit at first leading to a more rustic wild blackberry and mulberry. Not a complex wine, but also more than just fruit. There seems to be a unique taste of Sicilian terroir. Lingering blueberry. Solid but not over the top acid. No need for oak.
