Fairly disappointed in this one. I'd like to describe the fruit but there wasn't really any. Short finish, nice dark red color, not much of a nose. Maybe I should have scored it lower.

Decent blend of dark cherry and dusty earth but lack of body and finish was dissapointing. Lil spicy and did get iodine overtones when eventualy paired wirh red snapper hibachi. Did smooth out a bit after hr or so out if the bottle but overall, seemed to perform best while being overpowered by dessert of a chunck of chili dark chocolate.

Nice, fairly simple full bodied wine with uncomplicated dark fruit flavors and well integrated tannins. Not much in the way of a finish.

This was a rusticly styled, fairly simple bottle of wine. It would suffice as a weekday table wine

Meh, not bad. At least it's not wimpy or austere. Perhaps a little terse. Fruit is dark and a little dusty. I get tart cherry and plums. Distinct iodine component for me on the mid palate and finish. Also finding a mushroomy gamey aspect. Very much benefiting from decanting. Medium body. A little tart . Fairly drying in the tannin department. I'm not very experienced with french wines so I can't really contextualize it. Wants to be with food. May …
