Bold, lively, velvety smooth elixir! Delicious fruit but not fruity, earthy with a hint of sweetness.

This wine has aged wonderfully. Well balanced mix of fruit, spice and laid back tannins. If you are looking for a full bodied zin then this is not it.

This medium bodied wine featured a nutty, blackberry jam aroma with flavors of raspberry, chocolate and spice. It was moderate in tannins but surprisingly acidic giving it a bold mouthfeel. We purchased this at the vineyard and will definitely look for it again.

Aroma is bold, maybe blackberry (hard to tell with spicy food being cooked). Tastes quite bold with blackberry and blueberry - wow, quite good. Long berry finish, at the end getting a note of raspberry. General census here: Quite Good, structured, and bold. Well worth cellaring for 4 years.

A big hit at a local wine tasting. More reserved than many zinfandel's with a balance of fruit, acidity and alcohol

Color - Dark Garnet Nose - Not a real big nose maybe berries Palate - A bit dry with a slight hint of cardboard, possibly corked. Lightly acidic. The corked aspect did not show up in the nose but did so on the palate.

Folks loved it. I really did not get a good shot at it as it disappeared in a hurry. But i love big powerful zins and this never disappoints.

Four hour slow ox. Deep dark ruby magenta color. Candied plum, fig with its leaves, and brown sugar on the modestly extracted, fruit forward nose. Smooth, satiny palate, with lots of rich fruit and good acidity. Firm, full tannins on the medium long finish. Very nice Zinfandel.

An unpleasant acidity is the first note that overwhelms the fruit and spice. Improved only marginally on day 2. Suspect that bottle is spoiled.

ZAP TRADE TASTING, vineyard at 2400 foot elevation, nose of black cherry, black berry, and minerals, same on the palate, lots of harsh tannins here suggest 5 years in the cellar are needed to tame it, rich fruit, big body, mouth filling fruit, very tasty, at $52 you should try it.
