first Monteverro Tinata for me, quite nice and enjoyable wine, perfect drinking window now, but: lacking a bit of structure, or excitement, or dirtyness. it‘s a pleaser and everybodies darling, i am missing something, especially in that price range (retail is now double of what CT indicates here).

I have just passed my note nr. 968 (special for me, cause I have had this wonderful Porsche for several years), and now up for nr. 969, the very good Tinata. although a bit green in the nose the overall impression is very good. The wine is round, balanced, sappy, and has the right vigour; still young.

Licorice, kirsch, vanilla and black raspberry jam scents open a polished, soft, lush, Rhone style wine from a blend of 80% Grenache, 20% Syrah was aged in 40% new, French oak for 18 months and reached 14.5% alcohol. Forward in style, this is already delicious.
