Absolutely lovely. Excellent structure, medium body and medium intensity fruit, and a delightfully long finish. For under $20 this is a steal.

Pale ruby in appearance. Lovely aroma of red fruits, cassis and a hint of spice. It has a similar flavour profile — red currants and red cherries dominate, accompanied by plums, cassis and mild spicy oak. The wine has silky tannin, low-medium acidity and a long mellow finish marked by red fruits along with traces of vanilla and a very slight hint of cinnamon. Coravin by the glass. Nose of blackberry, red plum, currant, spice and forest floor. Red and black fruit, black tea, spice and forest floor on the palate. Good persistence. Medium to full bodied. A very good QPR. Served with harissa beef rice bowl.
