solid, sweet viscous peach, pear, and some tropical notes; don't notice any petrol; pretty good acidity, albeit less than i prefer, given the hedonistic fruit.

petrol, peaches, mango; rich and ripe fruits, great acid, long finish. Decent balance.

Nose of butterscotch, petrol and ripe tropical fruit. Decent balance, but I would prefer more acidity. Long finish and still very enjoyable.

Deep golden with a coppery sheen. There are some nice elements to this but it seems over mature. Initially ripe Fuji apple, honeycomb, later more at peach cobbler, peach ice cream, slight hints of petrol. Some sweetness, but as if old fruit, and lacks liveliness. So it is quaffable, but not evincing fine qualities others had noted earlier on. A bit weaker night two.

This delightful, delightful wonder has, alas, passed over to the other side. The acidity has eroded making it flabbier and more one dimensional. The memories, and the value, still keep it close to my heart...and still a very solid wine by any standard. Glad I walked into this bar.

Good wine, great QPR. All the typical Riesling characteristics, quite sweet but a decent amount of acidity too. For this to be great, I'd say it needs a touch more acidity. Also developed a petrol note with air that I didn't love. Still, quite smooth and easy to drink.

Consistently with previous note, but I'm not scoring quite as highly. Rich and complex without being ponderous. For the money this wine is hard to beat.

Impossibly complex and intriguing. Probably the WOTN amongst giants tonight. Plenty of stiff competition. Firmly acidic, but deep and flavorful. Incredibly appealing...and $16 off the shelf in PA?? Incredible. I'm going back to buy a few before they sell out. If not WOTN, QPR OTN.

I found this a little too sweet for my tastes this time around. May have to do with all the dry Rieslings we consumed during our trip to the Fingerlakes in June. Peach and melon. Good acid helps keep the sweetness in check. If scoring 89-91.

Opened and started at home. Then took a restaurant to finish. Excellent bottle of Riesling. Crisp, clean, a little sweet, great mouth feel, a little petrol. Sweet peach, some citrus. Refreshing. If scoring 90-92.

Bottle was given to my husband as a prize for wine quiz at a tasting with Anatoly. The cork disintegrated only at the centre as we pulled the cork screw and stuck on the neck of the bottle making a tube. Pouring wine through a cork felt odd. Viscous, light straw hew. On the nose, key lime, apricot and linden blossom are nicely integrated. A wight is felt through sugar level that dominates the acidity. Moderate mineral and chewy acidity …

Light yellow in color. Wonderful aromatics. Peach, honey, and candied citrus flavors. Very concentrated. Long, long finish.
