This is time and time again a stellar bottle of wine. Love pouring this for folks and surprising them with the fact that it is merlot! Coming together nicely at the moment. Dark brooding fruit is starting to integrate and the oak is becoming more subtle. Dark cherry, plum and fig. Winter apices and hints of rosemary and sage. Drinking great now but I’m sure it can still age another 5+ years

Good stuff, Still quite tight, and it took an hour to open. Entering its window, with some tertiary goodness, dark fruits, black cherries, good body, good acid, good depth and complexity. A pleasant sipper that is soft and easy to drink. 91+

Weekly tasting group; Italy. 5 flights of 3 wines. (@ RW) : In the bouquet ripe and warm dark berries and some vanilla from the oak. On the palate sweet cherries and a mouth full of wine, ok acidity and sticky tannin as well as oak. Still very youthful. Wait until 2027 at least. 90+
