Champagne tasting @home : 100% Pinot Noir Intensity medium(+). Lime, green apple, strawberry, fresh bread. Acidity medium(+). Finish medium(+).

it's now or never. oxidative notes are starting to dominate the bouquet. if you were having second thoughts on it, don't. drink now and you'll find a very nice vintage champagne at the sunset of its life.

A lot of fruits, nice minerality, good and high acidity, start to be more complex compare to prev bottles. The pinot noir is bringing out a lot of fruits.

Serviceable weeknight bubbles, and not bad at all, but not sure I'll seek to buy again. Middle of the road style, with some BdN weight while not in an especially vinuous or rich mode. Dosage is perhaps just a tad high for my tastes, and I'd like to see a touch more acidity. Certainly not bad though and for $25 it would be hard to complain. Light and sprightly with great mousse. Dances on the tongue like a ballerina. Lovely!

Very pale yellow. Quite bubbly. Yeasty. A bit too tart. Decent finish.

Not getting a lot of fruit today. Yiesty, brioche aroma. On the palate, high acidity. Medium finish. Qpr is good. Enjoyable this time but not as good as previous bottles.

burst in the mouth with fine bubbles, yiesty, baked apple, citrusy. very enjoyable, QPR is very good at sub $25. medium plus finish. viscosity is a little thick compare to other champagne.

Bright acidity, a lot of aroma for champagne. A lot of citrus note. A hint of brioche note. Burst in the mouth like Cristal but obviously not anywhere near that good. 100% pinot noir. I think it is better than a few NV blended champagne but not that special.

Light to medium on the profile. Distinct smoky lemon nose with Apple and lemon flavors. Not much dough/biscuit flavors or aromas.

2010 vintage

A Cab lovers Champagne that has a much darker pink color and significant tannin. Even the foam in the pour is a lovely deep pink instead of beer head white. Can be used in place of Pinot Noir and even a Cab with a bloody steak. While deep red and tannic, remains refreshing, vivid, and cleansing.

Lots of complex flavors, nice color, medium bodied, good value, would drink again.

A nice aperitif. Strong notes of apple and pear, almost overwhelmingly so. Enjoyable but misses a "wow" factor to make it great. A good everyday champagne.

Good drinker. Not chilled enough and landed a bit flat.

Much better than the previous bottle, but still not an outstanding example of pink champagne. Rather bitter/astringent.

No notes taken. Translucent red, numerous sub-mm bubbles, vibrant and festive. Aromas of strawberries, bread, raspberries, mineral. Dry, medium(+) acidity, medium alcohol @12% abv, medium body. Flavors of strawbery, lemon zest, raspberry, small cherries. Fruit-driven , cookie notes and with lively mousse, cutting finish. Nothing to complain about; just swig!

Full bodied, lots of flavor, yeasty, enjoyed with linguine with clam sauce, will drink again.

So much better than the last bottle. This one had substance and taste. Some tangy citrus that is well balanced and carries through to a long finish. Not very complex, but at the price point you can live with that.

Weak and flavorless, much like others have noted.

Fruit punch with bubbles. WTSO

Well.....the best you can say about this bubbly is that....it has bubbles and kind of tastes okay (what taste there is to it). It's really non-descript with very little character. It's what you have to watch out for when you subscribe to WTSO. Sometimes there's a lot of hype with nothing to back it up. It's not worth what it costs. For $10 a bottle less you can buy much better sparkling wine. Remember, "Champagne" doesn't guarantee quality.

Zippy and citrusy. Great value from WTSO.

Lots of citrus on the palate, with lemon and floral notes. Comes off somewhat light, without showing much toast or bread dough. A medium yellow color that doesn't look at all like a 100% Blanc de Noir, which this is. It's very good with seafood.

Good Champagne with clean flavors and no one characteristic stands out. Enjoyed bottle with cheese and salad. Will drink again. Lots of bubbles.

Delicate pale green color, with green apple, green fig, and lemony aeromatics. The palate exhibits straightforward lemon and lime fruits, which are vibrant and pleasant. Finishes clean.

Nice flavors and fine bubbles making for an excellent NV Champagne.
