I had the same wine in 2023 and it was very good. This wine is on the downhill slope. Fruit is much reduced and acid tartness is the predominant experience. If I was rating it, it would be a mid to high 80 score.

Delicious, well-balanced Chardonnay. Beautiful citrus notes with light tart, opens with lovely grapefruit zest then opens up in the glass, displaying rich aroma of honeysuckle, pie crust Meyer lemon, honey, and peach. Pleasing smooth, lasting finish. Rich and creamy texture with a light layer of acidity. Enjoyed with a plate of linguine with clams and shrimp. 🤌

Took a while for this one to express. Definitely needed to come up closer to room temp and most definitely needed oxidation. One hour of air and 70 degree temps and this one was doing much better. Didn't go too well with jalapeno ranch dip, but went very well with homemade chicken stew. The entry of this wine is initially sharp, acidic, with jasmine and peach and underripe grapefruit. Finished with a touch of white pepper. This one bloomed to …

Nice balance between acidity and some buttery oak. Meyer lemon, white flowers and a hint of pepper on the finish. Good round mouthfeel and finish.

Medium yellow color. Aromas of oranges, yellow apples, lemon curd, with notes of honey, almond, with vanilla, also white tea and dandelion notes. Medium-plus-bodied with gorgeous texture, balanced with vibrant acidity. The fruit is like a mix of orange peel, kiwi and lemon curd, blended with richer notes of graham cracker, vanilla and nougat, but also this brisk, mineral-infused feel. Bold but vibrant, with this nuanced and fresh approach. For the price especially, yeah, this rocks.

Pleasant acidity, but not much else to recommend it. It's not bad, but not what I expect at this price for a Sonoma Chardonnay.

A little thin and unremarkable at first due to being too cold but really opened up when it came up to temp. Flowers & brioche nose with a very nice Meyer lemon (ala Westside Farms Chardonnay) that transitioned to tart Granny Smith apple after being open for an hour. Warmth and patience is rewarded.
