Mailly, Extra Brut Grand Cru

Wow! This wine is packing some heat, so expressive! Honeysuckle, lemon zest, cantaloup, macadamia nut and making saltine crackers. Taste is buttery, creamy and vibrant. 30 second plus long finish, just keeps going. For the price, around $45-50 this wine delivers. And its a vintage Grand Cru. Still has many years left.

Medium gold, steady stream of small pearly bubbles with a dime size mousse. Rich & nutty nose with lemon pie, baked saltines crackers & bruised pear. Very clean & dry with immediate citrus peel/pith, raspberry, green apple with a baked dough finish but it lacks a little bit of depth or richness. Maybe in a few more years as it seems there's plenty to work with. 75% Pinot Noir
