Burgundy visit- 4/28 and 4/29; 5/5/2014-5/14/2014 : Winery visit- aromas of earth and mushroom, with cedar, fig and black cherry. High acid on the palate, fine tannins. Bright flavors highlighting slate and mineral notes, cherry, spice and earth. Juicy red fruit notes on the finish. Good overall.
