Took about a 1/2 hour to open up but once it did it was a really nice Italian red. Simple but long finish and good balance.

For me this has good material, but needs some time or a lot of air. A bit dark and brooding at the moment, with a touch of licorice on the back end that, for me, wants to resolve.

Charming, classic party wine that non wine geeks like. Approachable now. 6 bottles opened all same.

Purple brown hue, soft nose. First taste is modest ripe fruits - red cherries, plums, hint of spice into a medium fast finish and surprisingly long linger. Pretty good drinking rosso from a great vineyard

PnP. Deep ruby with dark-red brick edge in color. Nose of morello cherries, sweet tobacco, rose water and vanilla. On the palate: sour cherries, tobacco, tar & subtle wood spice. Silky smooth tannins are perceived somewhat on gums. Long finish of red berries, red currants, citric acid and light wood spice.

Glad I kept this one for a couple of years, as it felt nicely ready. Slimline and fresh, with plenty of juicy fruit and a nice acid-led structure to complement ham baked in a ginger, honey and orange glaze.

Bu en succ. Juteux et bien frais, sans lourdeur. Belle acidité avec des fruits rouge et des épices. Finale tout en finesse sur des relents d'herbes. Bien aimé.

Cherry, almost kirsch like in intensity, plums, dried tobacco, hints of roasted coffee and almonds. Medium to full bodied. More cherry and plum on the palate, lively acidity lifting the richness, touch rough in a good way; decent bitter chocolate finish.
