Nice nose (citrus fruits, apple), but too sour and lacking all features of pinot gris except for the slightly spicy finish. The very first Alto Adige wine I was that disappointed with.

Medium yellow color. Stone fruit, lime and slate aromas. Zesty acidity, medium weight mouthfeel, lingering peach and apricot flavor profile. Correctly (re)defines Pinot Grigio for the US market. Sourced from Westgate Wine, Raleigh, NC.

Interesting depth and breadth of flavor. Had I tasted this blind, I'd never have guessed it to be a Pinot Grigio, but a Viognier....it tastes like a Condrieu! Alcohol content is listed at 14%, and it's at least that, as it's a little hot. It has a certain white-Rhone character that I'm having a bit of trouble identifying. Flavors include apple and lemon, and a bit of non-oaky wood.

At last, a Pinot Grigio worth drinking and even holding. 99% of these Italian-grown Pinot Gris wines are vapid, insipid "lite" beverages for Ladies Who Lunch. Not this beauty, which is densely packed with elemental forces held in a vibrant tension: real wine! I see at least a year's improvement ahead. A steal at under $20.

One of the best Pinot Grigio's I've tasted. Lots of flavors - orange, apricot, some canteloupe & flowers. Elegant smooth but with decent acid and minerals. Long flavorful finish
