Il Cellese Chianti Classico Riserva

1 hour decant, cellar temperature. Still a deep ruby color. Somewhat subdued nose of wet leather, oak, mushroom, dried tobacco and cherry that gradually opened up with time and air. Velvety tannins, no noticeable heat. Pleasant but noticeable oak treatment. Medium body, lively acidity. Big tart and savory cherry fruit on the palate, dried oak, sweet tobacco, blood iron, rosemary and pepper on the palate. Long spicy finish. Very quaffable now, but could improve with a bit more age.
