Outstanding. Had this along with 5 German Pinots (spatburgunder). The Trimbach was full of bright cherry, showed little to no age. Evolved over 3 hours. Really solid wine.

Nose was sweeter but harder to pin down than the 2017 Réserve PN. I detected some rose petal. On the palate fruit was more prominent. Fine tannins. Remained fairly closed. Try again in a few years.

Drank on a (rare) hot day in the UK, served chilled. The low temperature emphasised the sweetness. Darkish fruit, well balanced acidity, nice mild tannic finish. Very good.
