Syncline Gamay Noir Estate Grown

Not very experienced in Gamay, although this bottle could change that. Floral notes, raisins and tobacco on the nose. Flavors of strawberry and rhubarb compote, along with old leather and sweet tobacco. Great structure with a very present acidity that transitioned with finesse to the almost velvety tannins. Needed about an hour to come to life, then delivered all evening.
