Well balanced, bright fruit flavor. Acid subdued at 14 years and drinking well likely has a couple additional years.

Mature and drinking very well. Nose develops with air over the course of a couple hours, starting with wild strawberry jam and rhubarb and gaining intensity to present as ripe cranberry-cherry, perhaps even red raspberry. The palate picks up these notes and has plenty of acidity, tannins are resolved or otherwise hidden beneath fruit that comes across as ideally ripe, then a nice seaweed/saline note in late palate. Fresh fruit and a bit reductive.

At first this wine smells medicinal, with light red fruit/rhubarb. When you let it sit for a but and have with food, some of the bottle's description comes through ("forest floor"). It's not unpleasant and an interesting wine to puzzle through the flavors. The best I have is moss and pine needles. There is a softness to this wine despite my description and it needs to breath. Unfortunately I could feel alcohol at the back of my throat the entire …

Quite good, much more lively than I expected from an '11 blend. Has a dark, brambly character without being too green, balanced by more than enough blackberry fruit to keep things interesting. On the spindlier side rather than more conventional, softer Northern California Pinots, but good if that's what you're in the mood for. Seems to have another couple of years in it.

Cherries, raspberries, rhubarb and spices on the nose. Medium+ acidity, sour red berries and grapefruit notes on the palate. Good finish.

Dark purple with a nose of dried cherries, a bit of cola, vanilla, and hint of mushroom. Still nice coastal acidity on the palate and good fruit balance with a nice smooth finish. This can age longer for sure. Should be even better in about 1-2 years.

Cranberry, strawberry and raspberry. Rich and smooth. Drinks very well now, can go another few years, but no reason to wait.

Cranberry, both tart and sweet. Bright cherry. Needs time in glass, and really opened up after hour in decanter. I would wait a few more years to drink. Very good.

Tart cranberry, deep cherry. Sweet tarts. Medium finish. Can taste the oak but not overpowering. Good Pinot but I'd rather a good Oregon variety for 40 beans.

PNP. Color dark ruby. Nose cherry with some spice. Swishing made me think of Oregon with the acid and spice, but sipping unmistakeably Sonoma. Smooth and polished and a very easy drink. Would be great on a restaurant by the glass pour because it is not hard to understand and really enjoyable.

A very pretty Lioco Pinot, this is red berry fruit driven, with notes of tobacco, vanilla, spiced tea and pepper. Long, crisp. full of complexity, very easy to drink. Wow. Why didn't I get more to hold? Still, beautiful now.

Piles of bright and tangy cherry fruit with good, yet totally hidden, taut structure that really carries it across the palate.

I doften finns hallon och lite försiktiga orientaliska kryddor. I munnen är det hallon som dominerar. Det finns en tydlig mineralitet i med toner av mörk sten. Läskande och riktigt gott. Går mer på elegans än kraft.

Good depth of color, very pleasing aromatics, with a touch more heat than expected from the 12.8% abv. No detailed notes, but this was generally an unusually well balanced and structured Sonona pinot, neither jammy nor green. Another fine Lioco.

Voluptious sweet fruit on the nose, richer and more candied than the Hirsch vineyard, with some bass weight on the nose and palate. Light on the palate too.

Great rendition of Sonoma Coast Pinot. Vibrant, high strung, bright strawberry fruit. Works it out for around $35.
