Wow. I would not have guessed its age by sight, smell, or taste. Main sign that this is a decade old is the smoothness; tannins integrated. Dark reddish purple color. Initial sniff betrays that it will be an inky rich wine. Black currant, licorice, clove.

Definitely benefited by aging. Tannins still there but mellowed and well-integrated.

Ripe cherry, strawberry, cassis, licorice, some light VA, amazing balance and purity this is drinking perfectly right now as a PnP, although with the medium tannins and structure it will last several more years with no degradation. Great value.

Tobacco with a hint of vanilla and fresh-cut hay on the nose. Dark cherry with a slight herbal taste on the palate. Wonderfully smooth silky tanins - lingers on the tongue for almost a minute. Great drinking wine. Fantastically improved since my first bottle in 2016. Not overly complex, but very enjoyable. Will try again in 2021.

This was really nice. 15-- 20 min decant, smooth tannins, complex, good finish. Some interesting flavors that I could not identify. Good value for the price. Would buy again.

Good juice but expected a lot more at this price point. Typical cab nose with loads or dark fruit, especially black currant. Palate is rather simplistic, no depth or complexity. Again here an overload of black currant flavors. Maybe it will improve with time but doesn’t feel like it has the right balance to do so.

Popped and poured for the NCAA basketball tournament while we were waiting for the other bottles to open-up. Purple fruit - blackberry, currants, and dark cherry. Smooth mid-palate but the fruit came across somewhat light. Solid finish but not overly long nor deep. Easy drinking. Drank over around three hours. Improved a little with time. Decent bottle but I expected a little more in light of Parker's 94 rating. It's obviously young so I expect it to get a little …

Wow, improved by a lot, blue and red fruits, sweet spices, black cherry, blueberry, camphor, loads of oak but integrated better. Really nice now!

Jury's out. This is just too young right now. Tons of tannins to start and a decant didn't really help. Pretty much undrinkable on day 1. Better on day 2 but it still tastes like day old wine with little intensity and a very weak finish. I am thinking 2018 at the earliest.

A rich and layered Napa Cabernet that performs well above its price. Dark red in color; medium in body; nose of spice and chocolate. Tastes of boysenberry, sweet cherry, mocha, spice, and cedar, with a more graceful finish that I expect from a Cabernet this young. 14.5% alcohol. Not as good as I had set my expectations to, but good fruit and structure. The oak was a bit cloying but other than that it was a fairly good value for a Napa Cab. This should probably be left alone for 3-4 years before consuming.
