La Chablisienne, Chablis Premier Cru, Cote de Lechet

Greeny yellow. Expressive nose of chaly minerality and iodine. Crisp and fresh entry, nice 1er cru weight and long minerally finish with a saline bite around the back ofb the throat. Starting to show some honeyed top notes that add complexity but don't detract from its Chablis essence. Lovely and fab value. ***1/2

Similar to previous bttle at Chablis offline. Pale greeny yellow. Slightly floral nose with minerals. Good grip, slightly honeyed and then limey fruit and mineral, good acidity and a slightly savoury finish. Decent length. Good. ***

Chablis Offline (Snow's on the Green, London) : Flour, white flowers. Flour, mineral, quite focused. Honey on the finish. 3+

The color is typical light straw, nothing remarkable. On the nose as it opens there is some earth, maybe a bit of mushroom. It airs out but the typical wet stones and minerality never really take over, remaining as hints along with a bit of lemon. On the palate there is traditional lemon fruit but I was not able to identify any other fruit elements. The acidity is fairly high but the wine cannot be said to exhibit crispness or …
