High alcohol, very fruity, but finishes dry. High acidity keeps it pretty balanced.

The wine looks yellow gold colored. The legs are slow. It tastes like peach blossom, petrol and guava. The body is full. The wine has oily texture. The wine finishes very long.

Deep Golden color. Nose is absolutely stuffed with petrol and honey. A bit of lime. Mouth: hint of sweetness. Petrol is still there. Lower acidity than i am used to with riesling. Ends with a bit of bitterness and raw mushroom. Alohol coming through. This wine certainly have qualities, elegance is not one of those bit it does have personality .

Tangerine and molasses in the nose with tangerine, petrol, still acidic but really doesn’t come through as sweet at all. Pineapple and melon on the finish with some length.

Slightly off dry, viscous w/ some glycerol, very concentrated & rich. A unique experience

An unusual wine in my experience in that is rich, even somewhat viscous, but dry. Prominent Riesling character. Good acidity, especially for the vintage. It drank well with Sauteed wild sockeye salmon. It seemed odd that it is labeled "Goldkapsel" but has a black capsule.

Moderately bronze-tinted golden yellow color. Developed and somewhat waxy nose with aromas of ripe yellow apple, baked apple, some petrol and just general richness. On the palate the wine feels off-dry, rich and remarkably full-bodied with moderate acidity and oily, even slightly viscous mouthfeel. There are complex, opulent flavors of peach, overripe apple, honey, some toasted nutty notes, a little bit of pineapple and a hint of steely minerality. Overall the wine feels remarkably big and heavy for a Riesling, …

Golden color. Aromas of petrol and lime. Viscus and syrupy, with nuts and burnt sugar flavors. Finishes clean and lingers forever. Drink.

Aging very nicely. Can easily hold another 5-7 years. Great golden color. Petrol, tropical fruit, long 30 second finish. Wish I had mote.

Light gold with a greenish cast. Not offering much aroma, but the taste is rich and assertive, with plenty of fruit character and nicely balanced acidity. I was pleasantly surprised at the nuanced sweetness.

More modern style. Great fruit with classic nose. I always confuse dryness with sweetness, but that being said, dry/not sweet for an Auslese. Long finish. Opened pleasantly over the evening with mango/coconut sauced pork tenderloin/rice/fruit salsa. I can't remember price, but think it was too much. Enjoyable, but not good QPR! Would have lasted for years if I hadn't drank it....Garagiste purchase

Slate, peach, melon, floral nose. Deceptively dry palate starts thick and rich but resolves dry. Palate veers towards tropical fruit with pineapple on the finish. Medium acidity, big-bodied, decent but not really my tastes.

Quite a lot of alcohol, a bit thin on the mid palate, not overly sweet, but good freshness and a wine which does not strive to project itself beyond what it is.

The cork had big crystals on the side facing the wine when I opened this. Aromas of bright red apple nose with bits of caramel and lemon. Also the aroma of steel and acidity. The palate shows delicious red apples, some green apple skins, something lightly tropical as well, reminding me of pineapple. Loads of acidity still here, and a bit of alcohol rises up in the finish. Pretty long on the finish, but all around the flavors here are …
