Tasted the 2019 Kontos Syrah and 2019 Saviah Reserve Syrah side by side. Kontos: black and blue berries lead the way, with silky tannins and some oak influence. Some savory notes as well, but they’ll need a few years to poke through the dense fruit. 92.
