Similar view to the 2022 bottle - easy drinking Pinot that is correct to type, balanced. Pleasant drinking but lacking in dimension. Did not show improvement over the two years, but is fine for what it is.

Overall this is a wonderfully lighter style of pinot, very balanced and no tannins to speak of. A light brownish ruby color, aromatic nose of earth and spice. On the palette light cherry notes, touch of lavender, light herbaceous notes and a touch of light smoke.

On open very light nose, palate of sour strawberry. With air picked up a Luden's cherry cough drop note. Lighter mouthfeel. Short finish, contrary to the Tanzer review. Over dinner it did add weight and overall was a pleasant bottle.

Light in style, very straightforward. Pleasant enough everyday wine. EDIT: picked up a cherry cola vibe after 1.5 hours open. Still in the everyday category but the extra notes and solid acidity in the finish bump it up in quality.

TBH I suffered thru this bottle over 3 nights, as there was nothing particularly enjoyable about it (though nil offensive either). Fruit was muted other than some cranberry perhaps. Negligible depth, complexity. $20 pinots have become my bane.
