Red berries and minerals in the bouquet. On the palate very juicy and supple red berries, good acidity and round tannin.

Pas de notes particulières. Pas mauvais, mais plutôt moyenne cette bouteille, sans trop de personnalité, surtout pour le prix (payé 57 $ en 2017).

This was fruit forward and brambly, with notes of blackberry and raspberry, transitioning to a peppery finish. Sort of like a restrained zin. Good balance. 13.5% ABV. Very interesting and unusual wine.

Developed and fully ready. Medium intensity. Dark fruit, mineral, some dried herbs, plum and oak. Good depth. Medium-fullish, fullish, developed palate. Some alcohol heat. Dried fruit and plum. Complex flowery notes. Iron minerality and dried herbs. Harmonius and concentrated. Long finish. Not for further cellaring.

Vin frais et profond, saveurs de fruits noirs et rouges avec de belles épices en milieux de bouche. Finale presque pas asséchante qui termine très net. Un RQP incroyable dans les 30$

Bottled retrieved from the cellar of Oinoscent Beautiful, seductive nose, full ripe red fruit, cherry, currant, ripe strawberry, slightly nutty, sweet spices, almost milky roundness, creamy and floral. In the palate, the same profile, med body, med/med+ acidity, silky tannins, ripe red fruit, balanced, old world texture and complexity, smooth, elegant, med to long finish. Outstanding

A single vineyard Bierzo wine from a 2,2 hectare plot. Mainly Mencía with some Garnacha Tintorera, Estaladiña (Trousseau) and Sousón (Vinhão) in the mix. Fermented and macerated for 40-60 days in 5,000-liter open-top fermenters, followed by 12 months of aging in old 225-liter barriques. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. Very concentrated, opaque appearance; a black cherry color with youthful, slightly purple highlights. Very rich, expressive and primary nose with sweet, straightforward aromas of dark grapey fruit, very ripe blackcurrants, some blackberries, …
