Based on our previous TN for this wine (almost two years ago), this bottle was decanted (and followed) for 30 minutes, which did allow the wine to open and come together. This bottle showed the same color; a fruitier nose; and a palate with more dark red fruits, less oak and more integrated tannins. Overall, it was OK, but it lacked freshness, brightness and excitement and I will rate accordingly.

Slo-oxed for 30 minutes - some sediment. The wine is a blend of 49% Cabernet Sauv. + 31% Merlot + 20% Cab Franc. The color was a clear purple, with fading to the rim. The nose was cedar and blueberry. The medium bodied palate showed lots of oak and earth, along with some dark red fruit, currant and a touch of blue fruit.
