Sehr feiner, eleganter Veltliner. Exotische Frucht nach Ananas und Mango mit den typischen, leicht pfeffrigen Gewürznoten. Frisch mit ganz leichter Fruchtsüsse. Schöner langer Abgang. Ein Top-GV aus einer gar nicht mal so bekannten Lage. Macht viel Spaß!

A private lunch (Restaurant De Burgemeester *, Linschoten, Netherlands) : Rich and full style (14% ABV), but with enough acidity to balance the weight, displays the gentleness and complexity that comes with age, ripe fruit but little or no botrytis, lovely touch of spice, good depth and minerality, good length.

Aromas of minerals, lime, some white flowers and a touch of petrol. Medium-bodied with citrus and mineral carrying through the palate with good acidity. Not on the level of a Hirsch or Hiedler Gaisberg, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Monthly Tasting Group HWS #037; Austria: Riesling (by EvA) : A little bit spritzig in the start. Very well made wine. Lean but very tasteful Good citrus and a lot of minerals. Complex wine. Harmonious.

S.F. Riesling Week Kickoff (K&L Wines, San Francisco) : Pale with some green. Mostly straw and herbs rather than fruit aromatics. Lighter weight but nice texture. Dry and stony with green melon fruit buried in the background. Good and reasonably priced.

Very pleseant wine. Stone, mineral, chalk and pear on the nose. At first whiff I got Sav Blanc. The mouth feel however, is silky and pleasent, with good acidity. On the palate nice green fruits and stone/chalk.
