For under $12 this is great! Worthy of the 90 point score emblazoned on the label. Some oak, some tannin, some acidity. and plenty of dark fruit. A nice intro to Chianti Classico.

I really like this Chianti. Very smooth after a three hour decant-- nice acidity, a perfect pair with my red sauce. Good finish, balance. Really meant to compliment food. Excellent QPR. Drinks much better than it's reasonable price.

Bright red fruits, really nice acidity and mouthfeel, grippy tannins but not over-bearing with integrated oak. This is quite good and worth the money.

PNP Nose: plums and wood. Palate: black cherry , plum, slight spice and oak. Overall this was a a bit disjointed. The fruit came in and the oak and tannin dominated the finish. Perhaps it just needs some time or some air...We'll see. A decent weeknight wine.
