In the 'drink now' window for my tastes. Not particularly powerful yet is trying to sport all the wine making tricks. Acid is a little prickly on the back palate. Subtle oak and malo are nice and not overdone. As per previously notes I would have expected more from the region and producer with respect to cellaring capacity.

Brief notes from hazy memory. Clearly a big, worked style but the fruit weight wasn't quite up to the winemaker's task. That said, nothing wrong with this wine. Drink now to 2012.

New Zealand Wine: London Annual Trade Tasting (Lords Cricket Ground) : Vibrant nose. Great balance. Long with rich mix of fruit and oak characters.

Genka Wine Fair : (tasted in gen.ka wine fair) A nice deep yellow color. Full and warm in the nose with a lot of toast. Very good taste with brioche again finishing of in a short to medium and rather sweet (14%vol) aftertaste. Quite good with a few concerns for the price (27€)
