Impensata Proprietary Red Wine Engelhard Vineyard

First time drinking an Impensata. Tastes a lot like any number of 300 dollar Cali Cabs - ho hum!! Stylistically not for everyone but I enjoy hedonistic fruit forward Cali Cabs so I like this a lot. Nice dark berries and a bit of mocha/dark chocolate. What a great finish - sweet long tannins linger for more than a minute. Blind, I don't think you could confuse this for anything but a nice Napa Cab. Fantastic.

Napa Trip - Trying new wines and meeting new people; 4/11/2022-4/12/2022 (Napa) : Aromas of red fruits, light dried oak and earth. The red fruits are much fresher on the palate with similar oak from the nose. It was quite cold during the time of the tasting and I was unable to get this to a warmer temp to really see how this would be. But this drank fresher than the '18 during this tasting.
