At first, oak dominates nose, fruit seems dried out, even though palate is flavorful and lovely. Put the cork back in and Waited two hours. Sauvignon character dominates, lush, succulent, but also more subtle, comparable to a great dom. Chevalier blanc, but with a depth and steely minerality. Alcohol is also quite high too

Pnp. Simply gorgeous wine endowed with fantastic acidity, depth, finesse and complexity. A wine that gets better with each sip and finishes with magnificence and length. A remarkable wine.

Bright rich golden color. Very complex and slightly reductive with generous portions of butterscotch, lemon bar, cantaloupe, and poached pears. The finish is somewhat candied but really marked by salinity and mustiness. Ready to go with the acid only providing structure and lift on the finish.

The general balance of fruit, acidity, oak, and minerality reminded me of a corton charlemagne, albeit without the power. Very creamy, pear, light orange, lemon, vanilla, light butterscotch, great acidity, mineral middle, and long finish. Obviously this will only get better over time.

Good acidity and minerality. There is some gunflint and matchstick on the nose. There is a good balance between ripeness and acidity. Good aging potential.

Straw yellow. Butterscotch, vanilla notes, litchi, flint, gun smoke. This was accessed by Coravin first time in June '16, last glass now. Seems more mature, very structured, concentrated, fine adicidity.
