Syrah is not on my typical consumption list, but tried this with salmon & was rewarded. The has some real complexity but not the weight of cab... Floral & charcuterie off the nose... Intense pepper (maybe too much) on the finish.

Absolutely love this herbacious wine with it's deep red/purple color and lusciously silky finish. It's so highly aromatic upon opening the bottle you'll want to dive in right away, but wait at least 30 minutes preferably longer, and you'll be rewarded.
