Vino davvero emozionante di una annata storica. Naso seducente di spezie, oliva, tabacco. Bocca di grande equilibrio con 14,5% di alcol che non viene percepito grazie alla struttura e all'acidità del vino. Finale lunghissimo. Grande bottiglia, purtroppo l'ultima.

Dark red. Ripe slightly hot nose showing plums, spice and Italian earthiness. Nice balanced dark fruit flavours and a slightly hot finish, Nice cheese wine.

Medium red with clear rim. Slightly hot nose with lots of sweet dark fruit, raisins and spice. Slightly sweet entry but long dry finish. Excellent.

Southern Italy : Ripe nose, a touch pruney with hints of solvent character at times but a really generous and succulent palate. Extracted, raisiny, richly fruited. A little low in acid and not real developed in secondary characters but a pleasure to drink.

Dark red. Lots of nice black fruit with a bit of spice. A restrained raisin character. A bit of sweetness. Very nice dry ripassa style wine. Although the drying takes place on the vine so a late harvest wine. No country does this style of red wine like the Italians.
