Opened tonight to compare to the 2009 Twomey Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast opened last night, nose of dark fruit, plum, very floral, and allspice, same on the palate, medium/big body, at it's best-time to enjoy, tasty, not as big nor as mouth filling but better on the nose than the Twomey, and a medium/long finish which hurt its score.

Medium bodied with a citrus orange peel taste mid palate. Low minerality, no noticeable oak. Unremarkable do not purchase again.

Initial impression is that it isn't typical PN. Initial nose hd nice dusty notes, raspberry and blackberry. On the palate, nicely integrated medium tannins, crisp acidity and long finish. Blackberry/blueberry jam. A little too much spice on the palate for me as the initial fruit fades very quicky.

A fruit forward wine featuring strawberry and cherries. A nice structure with good tannins and a nice mouth feel. The wine was starting to show its age, so I'm glad I opened it when I did. Nice!

Bought it at the winery 2 years ago and brought it back to the East Coast. Shared today with friends to celebrate my birthday treat. Well, Happy Birthday to me! It was very enjoyable. We were chatting more than analyzing, so I do not have a detailed description to share - and mine are not worth much anyway. I would say, nice ripe fruit, well balanced acidity, above average finish wrt quality and length. Very pleased.

Bold notes of black cherry that are interesting enough to get past seeming muddled with the slightest sweetness. Enjoyable. Score [ 50 + 5 + 12 + 16 + 6 ] = 89

One of our "go to" party wines. Excellent flavor profile, refreshing, great aftertaste. Guests love it, we love it. Drinking superb all year long (we've served this wine at a number of events this year)

Not drinking quite as well as the 08 was. However, to be fair the 08 had sat for a year in bottle. Uncorked to a darker stain on the cork than the 08 from what I can remember. The nose was assuredly more acidic. The nose showed a lot of alcoholic red cherry and spice. The palate was alcoholic acidic red cherry with vanilla and spice. Spice was enhanced in the finish where it spiked up, settled down, and left …

Young, lovely, pinot nose of ripe, red cherry fruit, not quite black cherry, hint of cedar, earth, and Carneros perfume as always on the nose, more of the same on the palate, two years in a row this wine is a winner.

Dark garnet. Opulent nose of spice, vanilla, and dark Pinot fruit like black cherry & fig. Tart palate that, like the nose, skews to the dark fruit end of the Pinot spectrum. OK length. Tart acidity. Palate doesn't live up to the nose.
