The suggestion to drink at a warmer temp (~cellar temp) was a good one since I agree that it would lose all flavor if consumed an the cold temps that most rosé is served at. This is light and delicate with a very pale color. It shows more peaches and nectarines than the bright red fruits one might expect from rosé's. Low alcohol and nice bright acidity as well. I really liked it as an alternative style and could envision …

Very pale pink, the nose is initially quite reticent. Served cold it is extremely dry and refreshing, but a bit one dimensional. The flavour spectrum bends more to austere dried roses than anything juicier, but it is a good rose for drinkers who eschew the bright fuchsia lollypop wines so often labelled as such.

Lunch with Anthony Genovese of Il Pagliaccio (Dolce Vita, Mandarin Oriental, Singapore) : Another simple but pleasant wine. Strawberries, raspberries and a sprinkle or herb and dried earth on the nose made for a pleasant bouquet. The palate was simpler, but nicely put together, with a lemony acidity undergirding green strawberry flavours. A nice, fresh, summery drink.

A very light rose, initially when fully chilled seemed bland, but with a bit of warming developed some watermelon and strawberry notes and the palate gained a little depth. A decent rose, but needs to be served not too cold.

Tasted at the winery. 96% sangiovese, 4% blend of other varieties including Merlot and native Italian grapes. Moderate red extract in color and flavor, with crispy acidity as you expect from sangiovese. Great wine. Drink as an aperitif or pair with seafood.

Light medium copper color; aromatic, tart orange, orange sherbet, cantaloupe nose; silky textured, juicy, flavorful but balanced rose, tart orange sherbet, tart mandarin sherbet palate with near medium acidity; best rose I've ever tasted; medium-plus finish (13% alcohol)
