Both nose and Palate are more integrated and dense than just released years ago. Minty nose integrated with cola, currant. Medium tannin full body, velvet texture with sweet and long finish.

From memory, pop and poured. Nice combination of New World me to old world in style and varietal. Headed to dinner alongside some Italian reds. I was definitely the new world wind of the night. Held up well with Italian fare. Drink now or hold for the short-term.

Wondered if this was still near its peak. We had it with steak, roasted potatoes, and peas. Really quite complex and hearty. Still some fruit. The Sangiovese was evident. I'd rate this 90.
