Dark cherry aroma with light rusty red color. Rich dark cherry and earth flavors with some charcole on a pleasant finish.

Really delicious pinot - loads of sour cherry with a slight touch of oak and a sense of minerality. Not overly complex but I give it points for balance and the delicious factor.

Best OR pinot I've ever had. Great minerality on the mid and back palate. Varietally correct sour red cherry fruit. Quite nice.

Tasted over multiple days with very little development. Beautiful dark ruby color. No turbidity but dark enough not to transmit light. Prominent nose with lots of dark and bright fruit. Pomegranate and black cherry. Strawberry and a touch of oak. The same palate in the mouth. Nice structure of soft tannins and balanced acid base. Long finish. Oak not as noticeable. Clearly new world Pinot but not overly bright or oaked.

I don’t drink much Pinot noir, but it is a technically sound wine. Notes of sour cherry on the palate with a long finish. Acidity felt a little high.

Dark red in color. Nose takes a long time to open up - shows crushed black fruits, dark florals, graphite and hint of wood perfume. Rich and ripe palate is redolent with spicy dark cherry cordial, violets, smoke, medium acidity, fine tannins, oak still present on the finish.

2nd Pinot Noir of the night and this was showing well after some air. Upon opening it was very tight and not showing much. After 30 minutes but really came alive and just got better with more air. Bright red fruit and stiffer tannin than expected. Acidity came through and brought it to life.

WIML90 Tasted non blind. Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of cocoa powder, tobacco, black cherries and black berries. Flavors of red raspberries, strawberries and rhubarb. Medium to bright acidity, medium to firm tannin, medium to full bodied. Drink or hold.

Cherry and floral aromas. Cherry and blackberry flavors with bright acidity and lengthy finish.

Nice wine, especially at the Garagiste price. Decanted for an hour and continued to get better the longer it was open. Pleasant subtle floral aromas, with flavors of sour cherry and blackberry. Lots of bright acidity, perhaps a bit much for my liking. But overall, nice drinkable wine.

Another beyond prime wine. Ugh...not drinkable. And have two more bottles.

It’s a nice, simple Oregon Pinot. Easy to drink, but nothing remarkable. Enjoyable but nondescript.

Solid but unspectacular. There are definitely more interesting Oregon pinots in this range.

PnP, the tiniest hint of funk which I'm sure will blow off. Juicy red fruit and an avalanche of stones. A hint of herbs and spices round out a young(ish) wine with a lot to offer, should have the legs for a long cellar life.

Similar notes to the last time, dry, austere, more French than typical but with some nice cherry and strawberry fruit and a fragrant nose. Reasonably long finish, overall pretty fine. Not sure about value.

Light to medium bodied, on the riper side, but with nice acidity. Dark strawberry and cherry fruit, bright, nice pinot typicity. Nice tasty finish, maybe a little short, with some vegetal hints. Very likeable, decent QPR.

A versatile food wine. Very un-Oregon-like -- slightly tart, crunchy, with excellent minerality -- would have mistaken it for a French Bourgogne (at large -- almost Gamay-like). 90+

No notes but nothing overly exceptional. Rather, serviceable and earthy. A good food wine that's more Old World leaning.

What is a typical Willamette Valley Pinot – well, there's a question with a long and hotly debated answer. Well, does this fit the outlines of it? Dunno. It's a little heavier/richer than what I was expecting, and while well made, didn't get me all that excited. Not bad, but not running back for more. From Garagiste at $29+

Ditto my last review. An a typical Pinot Noir. Lush stewed fruit, hints of some peppery earth, relatively flat. It broke down fairly quickly after being uncorked.

Tight and closed nose. Beautiful medium purple color. Still too young but great structure, not thin, and an intense dark berry/spice. Young tannins present. This should age well and develop really nice complexity.

Deep purple color, lush for Pinot. Initial nose of ripe and black fruit, berry and candy, somewhat Syrah like, perhaps some pepper. Palate was rich and very pure fruit. A bit lush but some stringent pepper and spice. Interesting Oregon Pinot.

What a great pinot. A balance of the new and old in style. Earth and dried cherry on the nose. Supple and well integrated on the palate with an impressively long finish. Missing some of the secondary undertones found in the great Burgundian wines, but, really, it's not supposed to be those and is in of itself, great!

love the name, the aromas are fresh and floral, berry and forest nose, this achieves what it aimed for; an Oregon PN styled in a French bistro Bourgogne Rouge way, shows plums, dried cherries, mushrooms and minerals on the palate, this is delicious, balanced, and went great with mushroom gravy and herbed pork chops
