Very nice inexpensive Bordeaux. Well balanced, long finish. Minerally, graphite, stone dust, fine tannins, black and red fruit restrained but present; underneath all that, lilac and violet blossoms emerge and say hello amidst a bit of wood and tobacco. Just a very pleasant little middle-of-the-week Bordeaux. Agree that it improved greatly sitting in the decanter.

I'm in close agreement with previous notes on this one (a Bordeaux I picked up at Trader Joes). Winedominus put it well: "Simple, enjoyable but not memorable. Initially, it was light, mild-fruit with a slightly bitter, earthy finish." I also let the second half sit corked overnight to see how it changed with time. Simple, enjoyable but not memorable. Initially, it was light, mild-fruit with a slightly bitter, earthy finish. After decanting for ~1hr, the wine became more well-rounded with a smoother finish.

really needs some time open before drinking. menjoyed the second half of the bottle much more than the first

Light, red fruit, hint of smoke & dust. Pleasant but nothing complex going on. I would buy again though.
